CHECKLIST
- Be aware that passwords in flexmls are CASE sensitive. Also when entering the flexmls Username, use lower case letters.
flexmls Username = Tempo Login ID - Lower Case only - Example = ab123
flexmls Password = Tempo Password - Mixed Case Possible -
Example = “BOB123″ is different than “bob123″
(Watch Caps Lock) - Commit 5 minutes to your first flexmls login. Plan now to make your first login to flexmls a quality effort. You will be presented with a profile of information that will serve as the basis for populating your reports, so take the couple minutes to make it complete and accurate.
- Plan for 3 days of READ ONLY ACCESS in BOTH TEMPO and flexmls! During the period of July 25-27, no new information can be added to the system via new listings and updates. Access will be READ ONLY, meaning searches and reports will function, but there can be NO data entry or edits.
- Transfer your Custom Searches. Custom Searches and Client Gateway searches DO NOT automatically appear in the new MLS software and must be accomplished by the agent manually. The most accurate way to perform this function is to print out the actual search results from your Custom Search and at the bottom of the results page, in small print, you will see a line that begins with “Your initial search criteria were:”. It will list the string of criteria in that search. Use this data to enter the searches into flexmls.

PhotoReal photography services end July 21, 2008
Proactive, hands-on agents who want to control the quality of their property photos while giving value-added service to their clients have made ARMLS photography service obsolete.
Digital cameras have become so mainstream and reasonably priced that it is no longer difficult for agents to provide multiple, high-quality photos of their listings. And provide them, they certainly do!
* Over half of the listings currently in TEMPO were marked “do not photograph” when they were entered into the system
* 80% of the half that was photographed by PhotoReal had their exterior photo replaced with one supplied by the listing agent within two weeks of the listing going active
* 90% of the current listing database has photos provided by agents rather than the PhotoReal photography service
For those reasons, ARMLS has decided to discontinue the photography service effective with the transition to flexmls® Web. Please be reminded that July 21 will be the last day that photos will be taken by this service. After that date, listing agents will be responsible for posting their own photos.
With the new flexmls system, agents can upload an unlimited number of photos for each property. Take advantage of this spectacular feature by submitting pictures that showcase all the property details that make your listing special. Consider inviting the homeowner to contribute photos as well. And there’s even more good news! flexmls will center and pad out images that are portrait oriented, meaning no more streeeeeeetched out pictures.
Title Companies to Assist in flexmls Training
Over the past couple of months the ARMLS Training Team has been working closely with several of the Title Agencies throughout the Valley on preparing for the flexmls conversion. During this period we have provided training and support to Title Reps that voluntarily joined our program to assist the ARMLS and FBS (the company behind flexmls) teams in the task of training the 35,000 + MLS Subscribers during this conversion. For those Reps who successfully made it through the training and vetting process, we welcome you to the team and look forward to working with you as we move forward.
